Ticket Information

There are four ways to purchase advance tickets for each concert or to purchase a subscription to the series of three concerts:

  2. Season Tickets are now available through our online box office
  3. Telephone

Online Box Office

Get Tickets through Brown Paper Tickets The Capitol Hill Chorale uses Brown Paper Tickets for our online box office. Order your tickets in advance, pay by major credit card, and have the tickets sent to your door. Will call is also available. Please note, there is a service fee for each ticket ($1.99 per ticket). Tickets for individual concerts generally go on sale three to four weeks in advance.

Season Tickets

Purchase a season ticket and enjoy a full season of music at a reduced price. Season tickets are available for a significant discount for reserved seating for all three concerts. To purchase a season ticket, contact the Capitol Hill Chorale at 202/540-0547 or speak to a chorale member. You may also purchase tickets online through our box office. Please note, there is a service fee of $1.99 for online purchase. Season tickets may also be purchased at our December concerts.

By Telephone

You can purchase tickets by phone by calling our online box office provider, Brown Paper Tickets, at 800/838-3006. Simply tell them our name (Capitol Hill Chorale) and indicate which show you will be attending. They will mail tickets directly to you or notify us of your will-call request. In Person

Tickets may be purchased in advance from a chorale member. Tickets may also be purchased at the door the evening of the concert: The box office is open 45 minutes before show start.

Frequently Asked Questions

May I pay with a credit card at the door?
No, we only have that service through Brown Paper Tickets (see link above). The Door will accept cash and personal checks. You may purchase your tickets online with a major credit card up to 12 hours before concert start.

I can't use my ticket, may I get a refund?
We do not issue refunds on individual ticket sales. Please note that your tickets may be used on either performance night.

What time may I come before the performance to purchase tickets?
The Door ticket sales begin about 45 minutes before the performance.

What distinguishes preferred seating from general admission?
Preferred seating is the best location for hearing the concert, in the center and starting several rows back from the front of the venue, etc.

Where do children with free tickets sit?
FREE children’s tickets are for GENERAL SEATING ONLY, and require a paying adult. Children 12 and under must have full priced tickets for preferred seating.

When are season tickets available?
Season tickets are available up to the date of the December concert only. The tickets have been designed to include stubs for each of our three concerts. The appropriate stub will be collected by the usher at the concert.

What if I lose my season tickets?
The Door has a list of season ticket holders and can confirm your status for the concert. If you let us know in advance, we can notify the ticket manager so that alternative ticket stubs will be available for you at the Door.
