Frederick A. Binkholder, Artistic Director

Songs Both Great and Small

Join us on Friday, April 16 at 7:00pm, for the premiere of our next virtual concert: Songs Both Great and Small. Originally slated to take place in March 2020 and cancelled due to the pandemic, we have worked to adapt last year's concert to a virtual setting. This concert will feature virtual choirs, small group performances, live introductions by Artistic Director Binkholder, and much more!

This concert will contrast choral repertoire for double chorus and numerous voice parts against works for four voices and small ensembles, a particularly challenging feat in the world of virtual music-making. Included in Songs Both Great and Small is an excerpt of Juan GutieĢrrez de Padilla's Missa Flos Campi, a handful of intimate madrigals, and classics like My Spirit Sang All Day by Gerald Finzi.

Because of size limitations, the concert is limited to 500 attendees, so be sure to reserve your space here on Ti.To. While we have suggested a donation of $15 to attend, this is a pay-what-you-can event and all proceeds go directly to the Chorale. We appreciate anything you can give to support CHC while we all navigate the effects of the coronavirus together.

While our other programs this season have taken place in Zoom Meetings, this concert will take place via Zoom Webinar. This will allow you all to chat with one another via the Zoom chat, ask Fred questions using the Q&A function, and attend the event live with us, but you won't be able to "see" one another or use your video or audio to talk to each other. You will receive the link to attend after you register for your ticket here on Ti.To. You will also receive a YouTube link to the performance, but that video will not include any of the live discussion taking place on Zoom Webinar.
