This week the Chorale is kicking off a Fortnight of Fun(d)raising - a series of fundraising efforts including individual events, online auction, and a direct giving campaign. This series replaces our annual Spaghetti Dinner, which has included both silent and live auction, as well as entertainment from Chorale members, not to mention the lemon sherbet (secret recipe). As much as we loved the Spaghetti Dinner, it was time to try new things and re-energize our fundraising activities.
To start, we've opened bidding on our first ever online auction!
Visit our auction site and browse through art and photography, fitness classes, cooking classes and demonstrations, fine dining, and unique experiences. The auction is open for bidding from May 17th through June 7th (right after our final concert). You still have time to donate items to the auction, just fill out the donation form!
You can also support the Chorale through a direct contribution. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Chorale relies on income from member dues, ticket sales, and fundraising through individual donations and community grants. Your tax deductible donation will ensure that the Chorale continues to bring quality music to the Washington DC community. Are you a business owner? Consider a sponsor-level donation and we will acknowledge your donation in our program. Email us at [email protected] for more information!
The Fortnight of Fun(d)raising also includes member-sponsored events (more to come on that). For now, happy bidding!
