This evening, we were deeply honored to receive a grant from the Capitol Hill Community Foundation (CHCF) to support a new commission from Composer-in-Residence Kevin Siegfried!
It means so much to that CHCF continues to support our efforts to bring new music to DC. The grant will go to our "New Friends" concert in March, where we will join with early music ensemble VOCE to perform the world premier of a new motet by Kevin.
For more than 25 years, CHCF has supported a myriad of programs in education, service, and the arts, with a focus on the Capitol Hill community. CHCF raises funds throughout the year from the community and has awarded more than $6 million grants to schools and libraries, service and support agencies like the DC Diaper Bank and Metro Teen AIDS, environmental programs like the Anacostia Watershed Society, and arts organization like ours. Please consider joining CHCF in supporting these important programs.
