Unceasing Song

The first concert of our 30th season continues our journey and will include: Magnificat – Settings of the Magnificat text by Dietrich Buxtehude and Isabella Leonarda along with the commissioned work by Kevin Siegfried and the Ave Maria by composer Nathanial Dett. Also included will be a set of Ukrainian Carols O Predvichniy Bozhe (O God Before the Ages), Voziyaviy nad sontse (Shining more Brightly than the Sun), Oy, v Yerusalimi (Bells Rang early in Jerusalem). The Prayer of St. Francis and a new SSA edition of the classic You can tell the world by Margaret Bonds will be premiered at this concert. Unwavering Prayer

Our 30th season continues with a concert focused on the Ukrainian Vespers by Roman Hurko and Bozhe Velykyi (Prayer for Ukraine) by Mykola Lysenko. Join us at Capitol Hill Presbyterian.

March 18-19, 2023

Unwearied Journey

We conclude our 30th season, featuring works by our Composer in Residence,Kevin Siegfried. This concert will feature Child of Earth that was commissioned by the Capitol Hill Chorale and first premiered by the Chorale June 2011. It will also include Songs for the Journey which was first premiered in 2010. This concert will also be at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation.
