There are four ways to purchase advance tickets for each concert or to purchase a subscription to the series of three concerts:
1: Online ticket sales through Brown Paper Tickets
4: In Person
The Capitol Hill Chorale uses Brown Paper Tickets for our online box office. Order your tickets in advance, pay by major credit card, and have the tickets sent to your door. Will call is also available. Please note: A small service fee (less than $2) is assessed for each ticket. Tickets for individual concerts generally go on sale three to four weeks in advance.
Purchase a season ticket and enjoy a full season of music at a reduced price. Season tickets are available for a significant discount for reserved seating for all three concerts. To purchase a season ticket, contact the Capitol Hill Chorale at 202/540-0547 or speak to a chorale member. You may also purchase tickets online through our box office. Please note, there is a service fee of $1.99 for online purchase. Season tickets may also be purchased at our December concerts.
You can purchase tickets by phone by calling our online box office provider, Brown Paper Tickets, at 800/838-3006. Simply tell them our name (Capitol Hill Chorale) and indicate which show you will be attending. They will mail tickets directly to you or notify us of your will-call request. If you have other ticket-related questions, please call us at 202/540-0547, or send an e-mail to [email protected]
Tickets may be purchased in advance from a Chorale member. Tickets may also be purchased at the door the evening of the concert: The box office is open 45 minutes before show start. Cash, check, and credit are all accepted.
May I pay with a credit card at the door?
Yes! Thanks to Square we now accept major credit and debit cards at the door. You may also pay by cash or check.
I can't use my ticket, may I get a refund?
We do not issue refunds on individual ticket sales. Please note that your season tickets may be used on either performance night.
What time may I arrive before the performance to purchase tickets?
The Door ticket sales begin about 45 minutes before the performance.
What distinguishes preferred seating from general admission?
Preferred seating is the best location for hearing the concert, in the center and starting several rows back from the front of the venue, etc.
Where do children with free tickets sit?
FREE children’s tickets are for GENERAL SEATING ONLY, and require a paying adult. Children 12 and under must have full priced tickets for preferred seating.
Who qualifies for reduced priced seating?
Anyone between the ages of 13 and 29 may purchase a reduced price ticket. We will ask for ID if there is any question regarding age.
When are season tickets available?
Season tickets are available up to the date of the December concert only. The tickets have been designed to include stubs for each of our three concerts. The appropriate stub will be collected by the usher at the concert. If you used BPT's Season Pass Manager, you can select your preferred nights right up to the day of the concert.
What if I lose my season tickets?
The Door has a list of season ticket holders and can confirm your status for the concert. If you let us know in advance, we can notify the ticket manager so that alternative ticket stubs will be available for you at the Door.
